Job Description:

Foodsteps is looking for a Product Manager to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract (with possibility to extend) and help build software that supports a more sustainable food system.

About Foodsteps

We are a food sustainability business with a mission to help companies measure, reduce and communicate their environmental impact. Global food systems account for around a third of global greenhouse gas emissions and are the leading driver of biodiversity loss, so immediate positive change in this area is crucial if we are to avoid catastrophic consequences from the ecological crisis.

Our Products

Our platform helps food businesses understand the footprint of the products they buy, manufacture and sell. Customers share data from across their supply chains, and we use this information to measure impacts throughout the product lifecycle. These insights help them identify opportunities, make better decisions and accelerate progress towards their sustainability goals.

In this role, you'll work directly on initiatives that help our customers tackle real sustainability challenges while contributing to Foodsteps' broader mission of transforming the food system.

  • Create, prioritise and communicate user stories in a Scrum environment, helping the team focus on delivering the highest-value solutions to our customers.

  • Collaborate within a small team of product, design and engineering colleagues to build, launch and continuously improve our suite of products.

  • Partner closely with our Product Designer, providing feedback on ideas, prototypes and designs.

  • Test new features before launch, helping to identify issues and ensure a high-quality experience for our customers.
